Tyler Brian Short, 29, of Pineville, WV, passed away on January 1, 2023 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV following a short illness. He was born on February 6, 1993 in Beckley, WV a son of Robert Brian Short of Bud and Amy Michelle Sparks of Pineville. 

He is preceded in death by his grandmothers Esther Adkins and Judy Sparks, a grandfather Joe Sparks, and a great grandmother Truby Sparks. 

In addition to his parents survivors include his step mother Angie Short of Bud, a brother Coty Short of Arkansas, a step sister Cheyenne Akers of Mullens, a step brother Justin Reed of Itman, his grandfather Roger Buck Adkins of Turkey Creek, two aunts Sherry (Bobby) Sparks of Pineville and Barbara (Danny) Bragg of Oceana, very close cousins Joseph Sparks of Pineville, Taylor (Tyler) Cooke of Oceana, Jenny (Daniel) Estep of Welch and Jude Estep of Welch, and a host of other loving family and friends. 

In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated.
