Edward Clayton Epperhart, Jr., 75, of Brier Creek, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his home. He was born on October 18, 1947 in Cabin Creek, WV a son of the late Edward Clayton Epperhart, Sr. and Thelma Faye McMillion Epperhart. Ed attended the Brenton Baptist Church and was a member of the UMWA. 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Sara Jane “Kitty” Toler Epperhart, three brothers William Epperhart, Robert Lee Adams and Johnny Epperhart, and a sister Shirley Ann Epperhart. 

Survivors include two daughters Drema (Randy) Morgan of Indian Creek and Kathy Epperhart (Nelson Hatfield) of Brenton, a son Gregory Shawn Baugh of Spindale, NC, six sisters Elizabeth (Ray) Neely of Gahanna, OH, Carol Short of Davy, Betty (Paul) Holleman of Indian Creek, Linda (Tommy) Vance of Hinton, Brenda Epperhart of Princeton and Norma Jean Jackson of Lynnville, TN, four brothers David (Linda) Epperhart of Brier Creek, Larry (Teresa) Epperhart of Kopperston, Timothy Epperhart of Brier Creek and James Epperhart of Brier Creek, seven grandchildren Randy (Chasidy) Morgan, Kevin (Holly) Morgan, Brandon (Maria) Morgan, Sabrina (Jonathan) Byars, Cameron (Emily) Baugh, Justin Hatfield and Calista Hatfield, nine great grandchildren Kinley Morgan, Kaden Morgan, Kaylinn Morgan, Brycen Morgan, Holden Morgan, Sheila Grace Morgan, Rylee Morgan, Paisleigh Morgan and Jaxson Baugh, and a host of other loving family and friends. 

Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, December 29th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 11 am until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
