Sheila Elizabeth Parks, 75, of Pineville, WV, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Wyoming Nursing and Rehab, New Richmond, WV. She was born on October 24, 1947 in Mullensville, WV a daughter of the late Carl Henley and Freda Irene Kinney Parks. Shelia was a graduate of Pineville High School, and worked for the Wyoming County Board of Education for many years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers James Franklin Parks, and Larry Randal “Ranny” Parks, and a son-in-law Kevin Cook. Survivors include a daughter Rhonda Cook of Pineville, a son Scott Edward Cook and wife Stacie of Pineville, four grandchildren Cameron Cook, Caden Cook, Zachary Cook, and Morgan Cook, and a host of other loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, December 4th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Doc Adkins officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 2 pm until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home.
