Shawn Michael Acord, 25, of Lynco, WV, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022 at his home. He was born May 20, 1997 in Logan, WV a son of Michael Acord and Joanne Hearns Graham. 

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewey “Duke” and Shirley Chambers and James Dee and Leah Lurlene Acord, an aunt Patricia Lester, an uncle David Hearns, and two cousins, Brandi Lynn and Candy Renee. 

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his foster parents, Darrell and Pamela Marshall of King, NC, a sister, Erica Acord of Lynco, and brother, Brandon Acord of Lynco, two step brothers, David Morton of Elkins, NC and Brenden Marshall of King, NC, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, and other loving family and friends. 

Shawn will be cremated and there will be no public service. 

The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home.
