Jody Lynn Browning, 52, of Hanover, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born January 31st, 1970 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Hannah Hendricks of Mullensville, WV. Jody loved spending time with her grandchildren, children, and husband of 32 years. She also enjoyed going to the beach and going to Tennessee with her family. Jody is a special soul gone too soon. 

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Ruby Mae Browning, a sister, Cynthia Bronson, a very special friend, Mike Stafford. 

In addition to her loving husband of 32 years, Paul C. Browning, those left to cherish and love her memory include, her daughters, Tammy (Shawn) Kennedy of Hanover, Linda (Scott) Shorter of Princenton, her grandchildren, Dylan Kennedy, Sophia Kennedy, Kristopher Matt Lanier, Michael Shorter, Aaya Shorter, her sisters, Regina Navarro of Pineville, Crissy (Mike) Massey of Ravencliff, and Brenda (Aaron) Bailey of Ravencliff, a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family, special friends, Janet and Ricky Walker, Branda and Timmy Jackson, Delphine and Michael Kennedy, Vanessa Damron, Angela and Craig Lester, Crystal and Rick Maynard, Amber and Chadd Bishop, and Brianna Welch, Cookie and Chuck who were more like brother and sister to her, Kaye and Clifford Trent who were more like a mother and father, Britt Hatfield who was like a daughter, and a special neighbor Kim McMann. 

Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, November 15th at Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Clifford Trent and Bro Paul Compton officiating. She will be laid to rest in Browning Family Cemetery, Hanover, WV. Pallbearers will include, Cody Lester, Rick Maynard, and Ricky Walker. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9 Monday, November 14th at the funeral home.
