Jason Lawrence Goad, 45, of Mullens, passed away on September 15, 2022.
Born April 24, 1977 at Beckley, he was the son of Donna (Goad) Royse and her husband, Floyd Royse and the late Jimmie Burrell.
Jason was a member of the Mullens Fire Department and was a former EMT. He loved cooking, being outside, paintball, guns, and had one of the biggest hearts.
In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Betty Goad; paternal grandfather, Paul Burrell; and his uncle, Dennis Goad.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Amber Goad; his mother and father, Donna and Floyd Royse; two brothers, Derek and Chad Royse; father and mother-in-law, Marty and Nancy Estepp; grandmother, Ruby Burrell; sister-in-law who he referred to her as “Lil Darlin”, Emilee Brooke Estepp; brothers-in-law, Robert Estepp, III and Thomas Estepp and his wife, Amanda; aunt, Darlene McKinney and her husband, Jonathan; uncles, Kenny Burrell and his wife, Rhonda and Stacy Burrell; cousins, Alan McKinney and his wife, Carol and Christopher McKinney and his wife, Michelle and Erica and Jared Goad; his special furbabies, Rita and PJ; two life long friends, Gary Church and Jason Roop; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Memorial service will be 7:00 P.M. Friday, September 23, 2022 at Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel, Mullens with Rev. Lewis Arnold officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
In keeping with Jason’s wishes, he will be cremated.
