Kimberly Ann Belcher Kennedy Lankford, 57, of Simon, WV passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at her home. She was born on January 10, 1965 in Detroit, MI a daughter of Brenda Kennedy and the late Woodrow Kennedy, I. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her late husband, Dexter C. Kennedy, a brother, Wendall Kennedy II, a nephew Woodrow Kennedy, III, and a niece Trista Morgan. Those left to cherish her memories include her loving husband John K. Lankford, seven daughters, Virginia (Thomas) Cook, Cynthia Morgan, Fatoshia (Wesley) Browning, Zoey A. Kennedy, Delinda D. Kennedy, Ashley (Rick) Cook, and Patricia Jones, three sons Timothy “Beach” (Keisha) Morgan, Dexter “Pickle” Kennedy and Johnny Lankford, ten granddaughters Emily Cook, Chasity Cook, Arieanah Cook, Chylin Mullins, Skylar Morgan, Alaina Kennedy, Shana Cook, Carleen Cook, June Jones and Jenny Jones, ten grandsons Joshton Reed, Kyler Reed, Daiden Reed, Kayden Morgan, Parker Morgan, Jacob Mullins, Rayson Browning, Decklen Browning, Jackson Jones and Jason Jones, two brothers Wendall (Kelly) Kennedy and Woodrow (Tonya) Kennedy, two sisters Angel (Benny) Morgan and Hayley Kennedy, Josh and Desirae Hatfield who she loved as her own children, and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Friday, August 5th at the Apostolic House of Faith, Simon, WV. She will be laid to rest in Kennedy Cemetery, Simon, WV. Friends may gather with the family past 6pm on Thursday, August 4th at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
