Chelseay Alexis Smith, 22, of Cedar Creek, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 22, 2022 at her home. She was born on October 5, 1999 in Logan, WV a daughter of Nicalous and Charlesa Thomas Smith of Cedar Creek. Chelseay is a 2019 graduate of Westside High School. 

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Jerry Lee Smith and Verda and Charles Belcher. 

In addition to her parents, survivors include her grandparents George Thomas of Oceana, Inis Smith of Cedar Creek, Gary Morgan of Sunhill and Helen Stafford of Simon, a sister Lindsay Smith of Cedar Creek, two uncles Eric Thomas of Oceana and Jerry Lee Smith, Jr. of Cedar Creek, four aunts Andrea Kenneda and husband Tobie of Simon, Elizabeth Smith of Cedar Creek and Kim and Kathy Stafford of Oceana, and a host of other loving family and friends. 

A private family funeral service will be held. Pallbearers will be Dustin Smith, Ethan Newsome, Harold Lane, Bobby Lusk, Mitch Blackburn, Tobie Kenneda and Lucas Minor.
