PINEVILLE, W.Va. – The Town of Pineville is preparing for a weekend of celebration.
First Fridays will kick off today, June 3rd, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., inviting the public to support local businesses offering unique gifts, crafts, boutique clothing, home decor and great eats.
Chunky Dunkers with dipped fruits, Hilltop Coffee with flavored coffee, lattes, frappes, and smoothies, Suntan Swine BBQ offering pulled pork, nachos, ribs and sides, as well as Francie’s Sweets speciality donuts.
Live entertainment will be provided by Chase Griffith and Caden Cook.
Town officials encourage the public to stop in local businesses for various sales and specials.
The Town of Pineville will also welcome all Veterans and riders in the Patriot Ride on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at approximately 12 noon.
The Patriot Ride from the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1144 in Iaeger, West Virginia annually visits Pineville on the Saturday after Memorial Day, paying tribute to Veterans.
Approximately 100 motorcycles are expected to participate in the 2022 Patriot Ride.
While in Pineville, riders will participate in a full military honor guard presentation at the Court House honoring all Veterans. The ceremony will include a 21-gun salute and “Taps.”
