Pineville Native Pens Children’s Book

GREENWOOD, ID – A Pineville native has taken inspiration from motherhood and authored a children’s book.

Letisha Cook is a graduate of Wyoming East High School and attended Southern WV Community & Technical College. Now residing in Greenwood, Indiana with her husband and Pineville native, Josh Cook, the two have two daughters named Haylee and Harper.

Harper was the inspiration for the children’s book, entitled “A Flamingo for Harper’s Birthday.” Anyone interested in obtaining a copy should email [email protected].

Letisha is the daughter of Rick and Ginny Shirley, and granddaughter of Tom and Joyce Stevens, all of Pineville. Her in-laws are Tennis and Melody Cook of Rockview. Any of these family members can also be contacted for information on acquiring a book.
