Elmer Lanta Lusk, 82, of Cyclone, WV, entered into his heavenly home on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. He was a lifelong coal miner and loved sports, especially Oceana and Westside basketball. He loved to hunt and fish. He was born on September 18, 1939 in Cyclone, WV a son of the late Kester and Ettie Osborne Lusk, two sisters Shirley Lusk and Ella Jean Lusk, and a brother Wendell Lusk. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 years Donna Cook Lusk, a sister Jacqualine Helmandoller of Cyclone, three sons Timothy Lusk and wife Pamela of Canvas, Todd Lusk and wife Debbie of Narrows, VA and Jamie Lusk and wife Matilda of Cyclone, four grandchildren Brock, Tori, Megan and Bronson, three great grandchildren Connor, Lily and Tucker, and a host of other loving family and friends. 

Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, May 6th at the Campus Church of God, Campus, WV with Rev. Jesse Allen Brown and Rev. Chelsey Noel officiating. He will be laid to rest in Paynter Cemetery, Campus, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 12 pm until time of service on Friday at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
