Charlotte Mae Fleenor Maynor, 83, of Oceana, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Bower’s Hospice House, Beckley, WV. She was born on May 1, 1938 in Lorado, WV a daughter of the late Thomas Garland and Goldie Etter Spears Fleenor. Charlotte was a member of the Toneda Missionary Baptist Church, a 1956 graduate of Oceana High School and a 1960 graduate of Alderson Broaddus University. She worked over 30 years for Cook Motor Sales and is the last member of her immediate family. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph Kenner “Ken” Maynor, two sisters Jean Ann Castle and Nancy Dixon and husband Fillmore, three brothers Paul Fleenor, Danny Fleenor and Tommy Fleenor, and a nephew Eddie Lee Fleenor. Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter Dana Kay Maynor of Oceana, a son David Allen Maynor and wife Terri of Oceana, three grandchildren Shauna Cook of Oceana, Leslie Sammons and husband Dylan of Oceana and Lauren Maynor of Nashville, TN, two great grandchildren Skylar Grace Cook and Logan Gage Cook both of Oceana, her lifelong friend Shirley Pruett of Myrtle Beach, SC, three sisters-in-law Barbara Paul of Christiansburg, VA, Paula McCormack and husband Buzz of Shady Spring and Barbara Fleenor of Oceana, a brother-in-law Roy Castle of Castlewood, VA, and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. 

Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, April 22nd in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Pastor Scottie Lusk, Rev. DeWight Stafford and Bro. Fairley Lusk officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 12 pm until time of service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
