James Robert Tilley, 61, of Sabine, WV, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. He was born on July 31, 1960 in Princeton, WV a son of the late James Brady and Shelby Jean Griffith Tilley. 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Thomas Tilley an uncle Gerald Tilley and two infant siblings. 

Survivors include a sister Debbie Mullens of Mullens three brothers Stevie “Beatle” Tilley of Sabine, Timmy (Companion Cheryl Wesley) Tilley of Jesse and James Robert “J.R.” Brooks of Sabine two aunts Mary Richardson and Ruth Griffith nieces Haley (Joey) Milam, Linda Tilley, Hattie Mullens, Heather Tilley, aunts Mary Richardson of Beckley and Ruth Griffith of Clear Fork, Patty (Freeman) Byars of IN, Ethel (Roger) Day of Glen Fork, Brenda Tilley of Maben and Rose Tilley of VA, uncles Roy (Pat) Armstrong of Glen Rogers, Herbert, Tick, Joseph “Ray”, Randall, and Rondell, Roger Tilley, special friends Nell and Bo Baugh, Cathy and Cathy Jean Baugh and Jeff Mullins all of Sabine, Larry Bailey of Hinton, Dan Wesley and David Bailey both of Sabine and a host of loving nieces, nephews other family and friends. 

In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated. His cremains will buried in the Tilley Cemetery, Twin Falls, WV.
