Janetta Carter Toler, 65, of Brenton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at her home. She was born on March 7, 1956 in Iaeger, WV, a daughter of the late Chester and Eva Hatfield Carter. She was a member of the Brenton Church of God, the Hanover Volunteer Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary, where she served as secretary and treasurer for the Fire Department. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years Ronnie Dale Toler a daughter Crystal (Denver) Simpson of Brenton a son Ronnie Dale (Lisa) Toler, Jr. three sisters Liz (Bill) Bennett of Athens, Hilda Mouw of Princeton, and Marilyn (Johnny) Davis of Coal Mountain three brothers Nathan (Rosa) Carter of Skin Fork, Dennie (Carla) Carter of Hanover, and Elmer (Angela) Carter of Skin Fork seven grandchildren Jallend Bailey, Tiffany Toler, Issac Hall, Brittany Hughes, Kimmie Toler, Kellie Toler and Krissanna Simpson six great grandchildren Carleigh Grace Suttles, Sophie Short, Raelynn Hughes, John Denver Short, Easton Bailey, and Shalynn Hughes and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, January 12th at the Brenton Church of God, Brenton, WV with Bro. Wayne Bailey, and Pastor Lee Fisher officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9 pm on Tuesday, January 11th at the church. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated following the service. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
