ROSELLA NORMAN

Rosella Norman, 73, of Allen Junction, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 31, 2021 in a Beckley hospital with her family by her side. 

Born December 11, 1948, at Paynesville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Lula (Baker) Payne. 

Rosella was a great mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She dedicated her life to working with children in early childhood development at Sophia Daycare. 

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, William (Buddy) Norman; three daughters, Mary, Maggie, and Daisy Norman; and one son, Michael Norman. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her seven children, JR Norman and his wife, Sabrina of Lexington, NC, Chubby Hicks and her husband, Tim of Mullens, Teresa Shrewsbury and her husband, Steve of Stephenson, Nancy Reynolds and her husband Tommy of Wyco, Chester Norman of Lexington, NC, Roger Norman and his wife, Tisha of Wyco, and Donita Bishop and her husband, Bubby of Amigo; nineteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one on the way; six siblings, Virgil Payne and his wife, Connie of Lexington, NC, Arnold Payne and his wife, Lisa of Lexington, NC, Beatrice Payne and her husband, Benny of Lexington, NC, Lola Click and her husband, AC of Tazewell, VA, Sharon Payne of Lexington, NC, and Katie Hankins and her husband, Rick of Lexington, NC; and one sister-in-law, Nettie Thornsbury. 

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Mountaineer Baptist Church, Stephenson with Rev. Freddie Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchem Ridge Cemetery, Keystone, WV. 

Friends may call after 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the church. 

Pallbearers will be Stephen, Jamie, Jeremy, Alex, Michael, Chris, and Mikey. 

Those wishing to attend the services, CDC guidelines will be followed, social distancing is required, and masks are mandatory.
