Brian Keith Counts, 53, of Rock View, WV passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. He was born on January 3, 1967 in Mullens, WV a son of Jack Howard Counts, Sr. and Linda Delores Stewart Counts of Matheny. Brian is a 1985 graduate of Oceana High School, a former coal miner and an avid outdoorsman. He loved being in the woods.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Worden and Bonnie Counts, and Forrest and Sadie Stewart.
In addition to his parents survivors include his wife Lisa Stewart Counts a son Brian M. Counts a daughter Kandace Hope Counts Woolum and husband Keith of Shady Spring two brothers Jackie H. Counts, Jr. and wife Gloria of Fairdale, and Christopher A. Counts and wife Pam of Matheny a sister Angela Hatfield and husband Travis of Clear Fork and a host of other loving family and friends.
In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated.
The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
