Gordon Ray Hickman, Jr., 56, of Ravencliff, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV. He was born on October 30, 1964 in Alexandria, VA the son of the late Gordon and Ada Farley Hickman. Gordon was a very hard worker and enjoyed doing carpentry and construction work.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Roosevelt and Elizabeth Farley his paternal grandparents Bill and Daisy Hickman and his companion of more than twenty years Nancy Allen.
Those left to cherish his memory include a very special aunt Imogene Farley a sister Elizabeth Hickman and his only niece Kerri Hickman all of Keyrock an aunt and uncle Evelyn and Jack Martin of Pinevile his step children Selena Cozort, and Justin (Kasey) Cozort granddaughter Aria Cozort all of Sabine his companion of the last three years Rhonda Tilley and her grandson Isaiah and a host of cousins, and other loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, August 12th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Ernest Francis, III officiating. He will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Pinnacle Creek, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 10 am until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be cousins and friends.
