Trecia Gale Elmore Gibson, 57, of Cyclone, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV. She was born on November 6, 1963 in Whitesburg, KY a daughter of the late Lawrence and Patty Sue Barker Elmore. Trecia was a member of the Toler Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Hester Jane Elmore a brother Lawrence Elmore, Jr. her father-in-law Aldie Gibson a brother and sister-in-law Herbert and Betty Gibson.
Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years Jessie Eugene Gibson, Sr. a daughter Patricia Ann (Timothy) Hege of Lexington, NC a son Jessie Gibson, Jr. of Omar four grandchildren Brittany Gibson, Jessie Austin Ryan Gibson, Cameron Curry, and Nova Hege one great granddaughter Isabella Gibson three sisters Cynthia (Jackie) Brown of Davin, Mary (Wilford) Carroll of Front Royal, VA, and Peggy (Charles) Cox of Duff, TN a brother Paul (Vickie) Elmore of Brooksville, FL her mother-in-law Annie Gibson of Cyclone three sister-in-laws Kathy White of Williams Mountain, Betty (Owen) Duffy, and Janet Rollins all of Cyclone three brother-in-laws Billy Ray (Freda) Gibson, Clarence (Debbie) Gibson, and Danny P. (Reatha) Gibson all of Cyclone and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Toler Baptist Church, Cyclone, WV with Rev. Roland Cook, Pastor Clarence Gibson and Rev. Billy Ray Gibson officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9 pm on Wednesday, June 2nd at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
