Douglas “Mark” Aliff, 59, of Oceana, WV formerly of Fanrock went home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2021 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV with his baby girl, Isabella by his side. Born June 29, 1961in Welch, WV to the late Douglas and Brenda “Susie” Aliff. Mark was the owner of Oceana Tire and Rubber for ten years, and also worked for Big E. Trucking for ten years. He enjoyed NASCAR races, watching ballgames and reading his newspaper. He was a big WVU fan!
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his baby brother Edward Lee Aliff.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Josh (Karrie) Aliff of Harrisville, Kayla (Alex) Love of Lima, OH, and Isabella (Jessie) Rogers of Lima, OH his brothers Marvin Aliff of Oceana, and Donald (Becky) Aliff of Fanrock four grandkids Arianna, Wyatt, Addy, and Xander a special aunt and uncle whom he could always count, Steve and Diane Acord special friend George Smith friend and caretaker Frankie Phillips and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, May 29th at the Brier Creek Tabernacle, Brier Creek, WV with Bro. Steve Acord officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his parents and brother in the Morgan – Hatfield Cemetery, Fanrock, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 1 pm until time of service on Saturday at the church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Stafford Family Funeral Home, PO Box 249, Oceana, WV 24870.
