WYOMING COUNTY, W.Va. – On Monday, May 10th, 2021, the FDA authorized the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children 12 and older. Then Wednesday the CDC endorsed that authorization clearing the way for shots to begin.
Wyoming County Schools will host vaccine clinics next week for students age 12 and older and their family members who have pre-registered.
A clinic will be held at Wyoming East High School on Wednesday, May 19, and at Westside High School on Friday, May 21st.
“Students at feeder schools who have pre-registered will be bused to the designated high school to receive their first shot,” said school officials Wednesday. “More information will be made available soon. If you have questions, please contact your child’s school.”
