HAYDEN CHRISTOPHER SPEARING

Hayden Christopher Spearing, 28, of Bradley, WV passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 6, 1993 in Beckley, WV a son of Travis James Spearing of Mt. Hope and Audrey Lynette (Robert Neal Newman, II) Spearing of Bradley. Our precious little hero lost his battle with Type I diabetes after a lifetime of suffering. Hayden was the toughest and strongest person there was, but his little body could no longer endure the pain. He eased away at his home with his mom, Nellie, in Bradley while his mommy, mom and brother held him in their arms. Hayden and his mom Nellie Scarbro were always connected at the heart. That bond will never be broken even by death. Hayden touched the lives of every person he ever came in contact with. No one could believe that a person so young could go through what he did with such a positive attitude. He had such a sweet heart with what he dealt with each and every day.
He is preceded in death by his two grandfathers Eddie Scarbro and Thomas Mark Spearing; and a uncle Eddie Scarbro, Jr.
In addition to his parents survivors include a brother Tyler James Spearing; his two grandmothers Nellie Scarbro of Bradley and Lavana (Larry) Thomson of Dawson;a step sister Jada Newman; step grandmother Sandra Scarbro of Clear Creek; two aunts Amy Louise Scarbro of Charleston and Jessica Spearing of Beckley; two uncles Charles Adam (Emily) Scarbro of Fairdale, and Christopher Lack of Charlotte, NC and  a host of cousins and other loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday March 21st at the Workman Creek Methodist Church, Clear Creek, WV with Rev. Joe Barnett officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Scarbro Family Cemetery, Clear Creek, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 2 pm until time of service on Sunday at the church. Pallbearers will be Larry Ferguson, Eddie Roark, Lance Martin, Matt Taylor, Matt Wood, Travis Spearing, Justin Scarbro, Layton Scarbro and Phillip Endicott. “Hayden, I was there for your first breath and held you as you took your last. Your mommy will always be with you.”
The family is being served by Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
