TED DAMRON


Pastor Ted Damron,72, of Ikes Fork, WV made it home on Sunday December 27, 2020. He was born on March 19th, 1948 In Iaegar, WV a son of the late Adam and Gracie  Damron. Ted served as Pastor for 38 years at The House of Refuge and Brewster’s Chapel. He volunteered for Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child and Love Outreach. He was a retired coal miner, and a proud supporter of President Trump. He coached Lizard Creek Little League and was a huge Westside Renegade and Baileysville Rough
Rider Fan.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by six sisters Eunice, Evie, Edith, Macy, Pricilla and Phyllis; and two brothers Edward and Oscar.
He is survived by his  “Angel” of 48 years Mary Sprouse Damron; his children Tad Damron and wife Jen, Muffy Brown and husband Ronnie, Ashley Reed and husband J.L. Two sisters Linda Klein and Vernie Natola and husband Sammy; a brother Ernie Damron and wife Bea; Ten grandchildren Danielle Hall and husband Josh, Brooke Campbell and husband Zach, Stephanie Hurley and husband Kyle, Sarah Brown, Kaylee Powers, Cameron Farley, Karli McCoy, Aaliyah McCoy, Brier Damron, and Noahjay Reed; Eight great grand children Brynlee, Makenna, Jaxon, Raegan, Ryder, Aubree, Levi, and Harley; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Sunday January 3, 2021 at The House of Refuge, Indian Creek, WV, with Rev. Clyde Endicott, Bro Roger Dale Campbell and Bro Jerry Vance. He will be laid to rest in the Paris Lester Cemetery, Ikes Fork WV. Friends may gather with the family from 12pm until time of service at the the church.  Pallbearers will be Darwin, Destry, Doug, Jamie, Brian, Ricky, and Allen.
