Linda Lou Lusk Brown, 73, of Oceana, WV, passed away on Monday December 28, 2020 at her home. She was born on February 9, 1947 in Herndon, WV, a daughter of the late Curtis Paul and Margaret Ellis Lusk. She graduated from Oceana High School, earned her Bachelor’s degree from Concord College and her Master’s degree from West Virginia University. Linda is a former teacher at Road Branch Grade School and Oceana Middle School.  She was a member of both the NEA and The Club. Linda loved laughing, telling stories and spending time with her family and friends. She particularly loved hearing from former students and was very proud of the impact she had on so many lives. She was also a huge Mountaineer fan and rarely missed a game.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Dorn Eugene Brown; and a brother Greg Lusk. She is survived by a son Keith Brown and wife Tammy of Jesse; a daughter Michelle Brown and husband Mike Moore of Oceana; a brother Larry Lusk and wife Barbara of Niceville, FL; four grandchildren Molly Moore, Zoe Moore, Peyton Brown and Julie Brown; Club members Deloris Browning, Kathy Stowers, Betty Powell and Nora Waggoner; and a host of other loving family and friends.
A private graveside service will be held on Monday January 4th at Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV.
