WYOMING COUNTY, W.Va. – West Virginia University Extension Service is continuing to engage children with activities through its End of Winter Camp in a Bag.
The camp will last for 5 weeks, celebrating the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring. Each week, there will be 4 activities for children to choose from.
“For those who participated in our summer camp, the format will be similar but stretched out over 5 weeks,” said Kayla Boerboom, WVU Extension Agent for McDowell and Wyoming Counties. “At the end of the 5 weeks, those who complete activity cards and return them to the 4-H office will receive a prize pack and camper’s name entered into a drawing for a 4-H branded item.”
Registration for the camp will be open until the end of January and can be found on https://4h.zsuite.org.
Camps in a Bag will be available for those who resister to pick up at various locations in February. Locations, times, and dates will be announced at a later time.
