ROY MOSLEY

Roy Mosley, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at his home.  Known to many as “PawPaw Roy”, he was born on April 15th, 1940, in Glen Rogers, WV a  son of the late John Moseley and Violet Stewart-Moseley. Roy served four years in the United States Marine Corps and was a Jack-of-all-trades thereafter. Roy loved to spend time with his family and friends throughout his entire life. Ever present in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren’s lives, he was a fixture around which they all drew strength.
Roy is going home to reunite with those who are in the Lord’s presence before him to include his parents John and Violet; his brothers Bill, Jack, and Ted; and his sisters Lucille, Alice, and Dixie. Roy left a lasting impression on everyone he met in life.
Among those left to cherish the memories and experiences shared with him are his wife Marilyn Greer Mosley; his brother Jerry Mosley and wife Barbara; children Richard (Antje), Joshua (Natalie), Thaddeaus (Sylvia), Cody (Mary), Donald Purdue (Angela), and Shawn; grandchildren Cory, Brianna, Nicholas, Alex, Skyler Mosley Bailey (Gabe), Hailey Mitchell (Thomas), Dakoda, Haley, Abbigail, Annalee, John, and Kenlee; great-grandchildren Amiah Fuller, Ridlee Bailey, Octavia Mitchell; nieces and nephews; extended family; and friends to include Larry and Betty Burgess and Steve and Nancy Snuffer.
