Elva Jane Hall, 72, of Powhatan, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
Born July 3, 1948 in Wyoming County, she was the daughter of the late James Clayton and Nancy Jane (O’Neal) Green.
Elva was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith. In her leisure she enjoyed camping, fishing, music, and playing guitar. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Hall; two children, infant daughter, Elva Hall and Mary Lou Nichols; siblings, Johnny Green, Zonna Meadows, Sampson Green, David H. Green, Mary Copley, and James Green.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Brenda Blankenship of Saulsville, Rita Hall of Bluefield, Pamela Hall of Welch, and Angela Craighead of Welch; one son, Johnny Hall of Bluefield; two sisters, Charlotte Green of Powhatan and Nancy Massie of Pineville; two brothers, Danny Green of Maben and Bobby Green of Keyrock; grandchildren, Cody Hall, Aaron Dameron, Charlotte, Dustin, and Justin Eldridge, Lisa, Latasha, and Billy Murphy, Roger and Jamie Hall, Grabriella and Michael Hanshaw.
Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 18, 2020 at the Bud Cemetery, Bud.
Those wishing to attend the services are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
