“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.” Broken-heartedly we announce that Olivia Jewel Bragg Adkins, 78, of Clear Fork, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 6, 2020 with her loving family by her side at her home. She was born December 14, 1941 in Logan County, WV, a daughter of the late Anthelia Jane Burns Bragg and Albert Ellis Bragg. Olivia was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son William Dink Osborne, Jr., a granddaughter Jessica Dawn Osborne, a brother James Bragg, a sister Cora Arthur and three infant brothers.
She always enjoyed camping, fishing, board and card games, storytelling and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters Sarah Blankenship and husband Leroy of Clear Fork and Cindy Nelson of Cyclone; two granddaughters Kelly (Jason) Lester of Brier Creek and Kayla Blankenship Dunford of Clear Fork; three grandsons Joe (Chell) Osborne, Jr. of Paynesville, Christopher Nelson of Pineville and Adam Mullins of Welch/Pineville Road; five brothers Tommy (Martha) Bragg of Cyclone, Michael (Kathy) Bragg of Cyclone, Teddy (Wanda) Bragg of Barboursville, David (Patricia) Bragg of Benson, NC and Teddy “Tadpole” Bragg, Jr. of Cyclone; two sisters Josephine (Ralph) Wilson of Cyclone and Betty Regan of Ohio; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday September 9, 2020 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Pastor David Johnson officiating. She will be laid to rest in Bragg Family Cemetery, on Brushy Fork, Cyclone, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 12 pm until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco.
