Roger Dale Brown, 75, of Ravencliff, WV, passed away on Sunday August 9, 2020 at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born on December 25, 1944 in Tipple, WV a son of the late Basil Brown and the late Jessie Fay Tolliver Simmons. Roger is a United States Vietnam Army Veteran, a member of the UMWA and attended the Ravencliff Church of the Living God.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Isaac Pat Brown; and step brother Bobby Simmons.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years Rosetta Farmer Brown; three daughters Cindy Nicole Brown of Maben, Kristen Brown of Ravencliff and Courtney Brown of Ravencliff; two sons Roger Dale (Yolanda) Brown of MD and Nathiah Brown of Ravencliff; two aunts Darlene Swim and Norma Shumate; four grandchildren Lana Marie Brown, Roger Dale Brown, III, James Dalton Brown and Alayna Brown; two great grandchildren Holden and Masie; two nieces Ashley Blankenship and companion Matthew Newcomb of Oceana and Samantha (Bobby) Cook of Oceana; and a host of other loving family and friends.
In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated.
