PINEVILLE, W.Va. – Wyoming County Schools announced Wednesday afternoon that the deadline to enroll students in the Virtual School Program will be Monday, August 17th, 2020.
“Unless a Virtual Option application is committed by 4:00 p.m. on August 17th, 2020, the student will not be considered enrolled in the Virtual School program,” said officials in a release. “This deadline for commitment of 4:00 p.m. on August 17th is necessary to allow for planning time at the school level for re-entry.”
Those opting for virtual school will be subject to a mandatory orientation for students and families, in the form of a video on Wyoming County Schools website: http://boe.wyom.k12.wv.us/

“Please keep in mind your completion of the Virtual School Program Orientation Video and WV Virtual School Consent Form is due by August 17th, 2020 at 4:00 p.m,” said officials. “Completion and submission of this form is your commitment for a full semester of the Wyoming County Virtual Schools Program.”
