The former Hamlin High School ceased existence as a secondary school following the 2005-06 school term.
Students from Hamlin joined students from Duval, Guyan Valley and Harts high schools to form Lincoln County High School in the fall of 2006.
The Hamlin mascot was the Bobcat.
