CRUM, WV

The former Crum High School in Wayne County closed after the 1986-87 school term and consolidated with the former Fort Gay High School in August 1987 to form Tolsia High School.
The Crum Mountaineers visited Pineville for a football game in 1986 and I will always remember talking with several Crum parents at that6 game and without exception every one of them could not wait for the consolidation to take place after being sold on the better opportunities for their sons and dauighters at the new Tolsia High School.
It is my understanding the old Crum building has been torn down since I took this picture in September of 2013.
