Rev. Donald Lee White, 78, of Cyclone, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 8, 2020 following a short illness. He was born on February 3, 1942 in McComas, WV a son of the late Raymond Issac and Mary Francis Rutledge White. Donald is a member and founder of the Gillman Bottom House of Prayer in 1988. In 1996 his best friend Donald Sparks became the new Pastor. He was a Pastor and Evangelist for over 50 year with many souls saved.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Lilly Keith White.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years Emma Brown White; two sons Donald Lee White, Jr. of Tampa, FL and Paul (Diana) White of Burleson, TX; two sisters Lovette (Johnny) White Milton of Crown and Elva (Michael) White Roark of Robinette; four brothers Raymond (Betty) White, Jr. of Cleveland, OH, Carl (Lois) White of Beckley, Tommy (Pauline) White of Cyclone and Garrett (Mary) White of KY; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday June 14th at the Cyclone Church of God, Cyclone, WV with Pastor Ronnie Gibson officiating. He will be laid to rest in Highland Memory Gardens, Logan, WV. Military rites will be conducted by the Wyoming County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may gather with the family from 1 pm until time of services on Sunday at the church.
