Margret “Kathleen” Vance, 55, of Clear Fork, WV, passed away on Tuesday May 12, 2020 at home from complications of lung disease. She was born October 11, 1964 at Fort Belvoir, Fairfax, VA to George JR Green and the late Bonnie J Scarberry Green Elkins. Kathleen made her home in Clear Fork, WV, captivated by the stillness and peace the surrounding mountains and countryside brought her. Her greatest joy in life was sharing in the love and laughter of family and friends. She prioritized quality time with them, always sharing jokes, memories, and stories of her humble upbringing and life experiences. In addition to her family and friends, she found much comfort and loyalty in the love of her fur babies GiGi, Pebbles, and Sunshine, sharing in snuggles and supplying treats every moment they had together. Beyond these things, Kathleen acknowledged that the greatest joys in this life only pointed her in the direction of an eternal life promised to those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Kathleen was adamant about sharing her faith in the midst of difficulty. She gladly shared her own personal story of transformation to speak over those found in the midst of suffering, struggling, or question filled seasons to find hope again. With much anticipation, Kathleen treasured the hope promised ahead and looked forward to the moment when her faith would be made sight. Kathleen was blessed with the love and support of a large extended family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.
In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by parents, Lola and Henry Goodman; a brother, Dale Goodman; and two sisters, Beatrice Goodman and Lola Michelle Davis.
