Eunice Eckenrod, 95, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Born April2, 1925 in Springfield, MA she was the daughter of the late Elmer Johnson and Aurilla Gates Johnson.

Eunice was a lifelong resident of Southwick, MA who recently moved to Oceana to live with her great-granddaughter, Amy and her family.

She took great joy in spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Arnold, the father of her children, Amos Eckenrod, grandsons, Daniel Arnold and Gregory Ritter and her longtime partner, Kenny Viens.

Those left to cherish Eunice’s memory are her son, David Eckenrod of Southwick, MA; daughters, Donna Smith of Southwick MA, Darlene Bush of Flatrock, NC and Linda McDonald of Southwick, MA; brothers, Walter Johnson of South Hadley, MA and William Johnson of ND; sisters, Mildred Slasinski of Southwick, MA and Martha Kilonchik of Westfield, MA; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
