Elden Harry Breeden, 94, of Clear Fork, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 19, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV. He was born on December 3, 1926 in Yukon, WV a son of the late Lum and Patsy Hagerman Breeden. Elden is a United States World War II Army Veteran and a member of the Oceana Freewill Baptist Church. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by several siblings.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years Joyce Evelyn Morgan Breeden; a daughter Connie (Darren) Browning of Spice Creek; a granddaughter Chelsea (Scott) Mounts of Spice Creek; two grandsons Justin (Karli) Browning of Morgantown and Shane (Hailey) Lester of Nebraska; seven great grandchildren Ellie Browning, Kiptyn and Konor Mounts, Noah, Chase, Sawyer and Easton Lester; special niece and nephews Barbara Ann Poindexter, Bill Hamm and Danny Morgan; and a host of other loving family and friends.
A private funeral service will be held on Friday April 24th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Pastor Jackie Grimmett officiating. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
