Paul Darrell Milam 70, of Brenton passed away on Wednesday April 14, 2020 in Raleigh General Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born July 17, 1949 in Matheny, he was the son of the late Ernest “Casey” Milam, and Nancy Rollins Milam of Pineville.
Paul was a veteran of the US Army, and he was a Coalminer, he enjoyed working on cars, and was a collector, he collected everything from Guns, Nascar, Knives and so on, he was an avid country and bluegrass music fan. Paul was dedicated to his family and his friends, he loved spending time with them. Paul loved and enjoyed life.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his wife Christine Milam, his daughter Pauline Allen, and his brother Randall “Huey” Milam.
In addition to his mother, he survived by his children Sandra Morgan and her husband Rodney, and Steven Milam and his companion Janet Audet. His grandchildren: Tyler England, Hunter England, Sidney Paul Allen, Destiney Day, Kassadi England, Desaray Milam, and Steven Milam Jr. Joe Audet, Megan Steele, Caiden and Conner Sanders, Bentley Smith, and Jace Smith and a number of other children he considered his Grandchildren. 3 great grandchildren Brynnleigh Allen, Hayden Paul Allen, and Silas England. His sister Kay Aliff and her husband Randall, and his companion Mary Byrd. Paul always had his door open to anyone in need, he always considered them his own family.
A private service will be held at Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny where he will be laid to rest beside his wife.
