The boys Class AA Region 3, Section 1 tournament starts on Friday night as No. 4 seed Liberty battles No. 5 Independence at Westside.
The winner moves on to Tuesday night’s semifinals at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center.
That evening will feature the No. 2 seed Wyoming East against Summers County at 6 p.m. Westside, the top seed, meets the Liberty-Independence winner at 8 p.m.
The semifinal winners play for the sectional championship on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the BRCCC.
