Westside and Wyoming East will clash for the third time on the basketball court on Friday night.

The Renegades, ranked No. 6 in Class AA, ended a six-year losing streak to the Warriors with an 82-64 win in the Big Atlantic Classic. East won the first meeting this season, 67-57, at Clear Fork.

WHS has won six of its last seven games, including a win over Oak Hill on Wednesday.

East lost both of its games in the BAC and dropped to No. 7 in AA. The Warriors have rebounded with wins over Summers County and Shady Spring this week and are now 12-4.

This game may go a long way toward deciding who gets the No. 1 seed in this year’s sectional tournament.

Game time is 7:30 p.m. There will be a JV game at 5:30.
