The final planning session for Pineville’s annual Autumn Fest will be held on Oct. 25 at 5 p.m. in the city council chambers at Town Hall.

The festival attracts crowds of 3,000 or more annually and Pineville Mayor Tim Ellison says he hopes this year’s event “will be the best one ever.”

Costume contests for children and adults, a pumpkin carving contest, haunted house and chili cook off are part of this year’s event.
