Wyoming East moved up more than a dozen spots in the latest SSAC football ratings this week.
The Warriors beat previously undefeated Summers County, 33-20, last Friday to leap from No. 22 to a tie for No. 8.
East is tied, ironically, with Summers County.
Scott is currently No. 1, followed by Keyser, defending state champion Wayne, Frankfort and Bluefield.
Bridgeport is No. 6, and the top ten rounds out with Sissonville, Summers County, East and Phillip Barbour and Robert C. Byrd (tied for No. 10).
Westside dropped to No. 26. The Renegades are 2-2 after last week’s loss at Mingo Central.
East visits Mount View on Friday, and Westside will host Independence (1-2).
