GLEN FORK — Clifford Oscar Halsey, 81, departed this life Saturday, August 18, 2012, in Raleigh General Hospital following a long illness. Born July 6, 1931, in Sabine, he was the son of the late James Troy and Mary Lala Halsey. A celebration of Mr. Halsey’s life was held 2 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012, at Glen Fork Baptist Temple with Pastor Lee Swor and Pastor Clifford Larry Halsey officiating. Services entrusted to Adam Toler Memorial Funeral Home, Oceana, WV.
SKIN FORK — Douglas Morgan, 70, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012, at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Wyoming County, born April 27, 1942, in Welch, WV, to the late John Calvin Morgan and Laura Lambert Morgan. Funeral services was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at Calfee Funeral Service Chapel, with the Rev. Tommy Knotts officiating. Calfee Funeral and Cremation Service of Pineville is serving the Morgan family.

BRENTON — Grace Helen Stewart, 82, of Brenton, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Wyoming Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Richmond. Born June 13, 1930 at Twin Branch in McDowell County, she was the daughter of the late Troy G. Vance and Virginia Mae Craft Vance. Services were held Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Revs.Tommy Knotts and Jerry Shields officiating. Evans Funeral Home of Oceana is serving the Stewart family.

BRENTON — Betty Ann Holloway Toler, 73, of Brenton, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, in Bluefield Regional Hospital following a short illness. Born May 30, 1939, at Lynco, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Holloway. A celebration of Betty’s life was held 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Calfee Funeral Service Chapel, Pineville, with Pastor Rocky Morgan officiating. Calfee Funeral and Cremation Service of Pineville is serving the Toler family.

LONG BRANCH — Dreama Kay Brooks Toler, 54, of Long Branch, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 20, 2012, at her home. She was born July 10, 1958 in Iaeger, W.Va., a daughter of the late Rev. Charles Ray and Edna Kennedy Brooks. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2012, at the Long Branch Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Blankenship and Rev. Landon Blankenship officiating. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco.
