The School Building Authority awarded Wyoming County schools $6.4 million on Monday to build a new Huff Consolidated School.
Huff was flooded twice in a 13-month period in 2009 and 2010.
This marks the second straight year the county has received funds to build a new school. A new Pineville Elementary School is expected to go to bid in May.
