Marcus Schofield of Wyoming East has been named to the Class AA all-state first team.


Schofield averaged 16 points and eight rebounds per game for the Warriors, who finished at 20-6 and reached the state semifinals.


This marks the sixth straight year that East has had a player on the all-state first team.


Several other county players were also recognized.


East point guard Luke Campbell was selected for the second team. He averaged 14 point and six assists per game.


Westside guard Cory Bowles is on the third team. He led the Renegades in scoring.


Honorable mention went to Warriors senior center Taylor Smith and sophomore guard Austin Canada and to Westside junior Dylan Newsome and sophomore Levi Lambert.


Joining Schofield on the first team are Chase Conner of Shady Spring, Mason Pack and Mikey Newsome of state champion Tug Valley, Anthony Eades of Bluefield, Mark Winters of Magnolia and Jacob Copley of Tolsia.
