The Wyoming County Labor Day Festival in Pineville kicks off tonight with carnival rides at Palisades Park.

The festival continues through Monday.

Children at Pineville Elementary School will get free carnival rides on Friday, courtesy of area merchants.

Highlights include Mr. Speed, a KISS tribute band, performing on Saturday night and the Car Show (on Main Street) and Labor Day Beauty Pageant (at Pineville Middle School) on Sunday.

Lineup for the annual parade is on Monday at 10 a.m., and the parade starts at 11 a.m. The Pinnacle Drive-In staff members will serve as parade marshals.

Exile is the headliner for the Monday night concert at the park. That will be followed by a fireworks show.

The Pineville Fire Department is sponsoring the event.
