Wyoming East and Westside continue to do the shuffle in the high school basketball polls.

The Warriors moved up from No. 5 to No. 4 in the Associated Press rankings after nipping the Renegades, 55-53, last Friday.

Westside, which was No. 2 last week, has dropped to No 5.

Both teams are 10-3.

Robert C. Byrd, the lone unbeaten in AA, is still No. 1. Poca is now No. 2, and Bluefield is No. 3.

In the girls polls, Fairmont Senior is the new No. 1.

The Polar Bears moved up after former No. 1 Summers County lost to PikeView last week.

SC is No. 2, and Westside, which received two first place votes, stayed at No. 3.

North Marion is No. 4, and Sissonville is No. 5.
