Hoop polls: Slight changes in boys rankings

The latest high school basketball polls show slight changes in the standings.

In the Class AA boys poll, Wyoming East (7-1) fell from No. 2 to No. 3 after last Tuesday’s loss to Bluefield.

Westside (7-2), which fell to Oak Hill on Friday, is now in a tie for No. 5 with Chapmanville.

Robert C. Byrd, the only unbeaten team in AA, stayed at No. 1. Bluefield moved up a spot to No. 2.

Poca is No. 4.

Westside (9-0) remains at No. 1 in the girls AA poll. The Lady Renegades won close games over top 10 foes Scott and PikeView last week to stay unbeaten.
