Faith Davis scored 15 points and Kristen Hash came off the bench to score 10 and pull down 10 rebounds as No. 1 Westside held off No. 4 Scott, 49-44, on Tuesday night at Clear Fork.

Scott faced a 35-25 deficit at the end of the third quarter but rallied to get within 47-43 with less than a minute to play.

Danielle Brown had a key steal and turned it into a layup to help the Lady Renegades improve to 7-0.

Hope Lester had 10 for WHS, and Brown chipped in with eight.

Andrea Rankin scored 13 for the Skyhawks, who suffered their first loss of the season.

Westside will host PikeView on Wednesday night.
