Three men have been charged with the attempted murder of a Mullens man.
According to Mullens Police Chief Ray Toler, Devin N. Fuller, 22, of Pineville, Cyphelas R. Fuller, of Glen Rogers and Travis Lafferty, 29, of Glen Rogers have been charged in an alleged attack on Robert Noon at his Mullens residence.
In addition to attempted murder, all three men face charges of conspiracy to commit a felony, malicious wounding and burglary, Toler reported.
“Noon was transported to Raleigh General Hospital and later to Charleston Area Medical Center, where he was in intensive care,” Toler said.
Devin Fuller and Cyphelas Fuller were arrested first. Magistrates set bond at $50,000 each. Both men were taken to Southern Regional Jail.
The Mullens Police Department, assisted by the Oceana Police Department and Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department, later arrested Laffery at his girlfriend’s residence in Oceana, according to police.
Lafferty was also taken to Southern Regional Jail.
Toler and Assistant Chief Jack Meadows are in charge of the investigation.
