Running into Rite-Aid
A car crashed through the front window of the Mullens Rite-Aid last Saturday afternoon.
Mullens Police Chief Ray Toler said the accident took place around 12:30 p.m.
Alicia York of Itmann, driver of the vehicle, remains hospitalized, according to Toler. A store clerk, Amber Harrison, suffered cuts and bruises.
Toler estimated the damage at the store at $30,000.
The Mullens Fire Department used the Jaws of Life to remove the remaining glass in the vicinity of the crash.
The store reopened about 24 hours after the accident.
