Wyoming County Prevention Coalition held a Positive Community Norms session with Jay Otto, a motivational speaker who works for Montana University and resides in Pocahontas County. SADD youth, Family Resource Network and community residents examined the perceived and actual truths about the area. “They were shocked to learn that our county is doing better than perceived,” said Kathy Brunty of FRN. The next meeting will be held on Aug. 21at 4 p.m. at the Power House in Pineville.
